Stacking the Shelves

Standard

Hosted by Tynga’s reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a meme that shows off what we added to our shelves this week, whether it’s in eBook or physical format or whether it’s for review or another reason.

Haven’t done one of these for a while and having received some juicy new books thought it was timely.

Bought:

It’s a Book – Lane Smith

Igniting a passion for Reading – Steven Layne

Front Cover

I have been wanting this book since I attended a day with Steven a couple of years ago and as my new t-l position for 2014 has just been confirmed, seemed like a ripe time to buy it and reacquaint myself.

New for review:

from Random House Australia

The Bouncing Ball – Deborah Kelly (read to a delighted Small -review coming up later today)

The Bouncing Ball, Deborah Kelly

The Kensington Reptilarium – N. J. Gemmell

Teardrop – Lauren Kate

Read and Reviewed:

Mortified – Martin Chatterton

Monster School – DC Green

Diary of a Dog-Walker – Ed Stourton

Saurus Street 5 & 6 – Nick Falk and Tony Flowers – A Diplodocus Trampled my TeePee/ A Plesiosaur broke my Bathtub

Library

currently listening to

Kings in Grass Castles – Mary Durack

which I have not read for many years and am quite enjoying from the historical perspectives.

From my own shelf I am reading on the train (for the first time) Love in a Cold Climate – Nancy Mitford – most entertaining thus far.
